Consulting Services
Many outdoor programs benefit from consulting services tailored to their specific needs. Our staff can assist your program in meeting and exceeding industry risk management expectations. Our experience in many different aspects of program delivery and management can be of benefit to both established and startup outdoor programs. Detailed here are some examples of projects we have completed for our clients. Please contact us to discuss how we can best meet your programs needs.
Risk Management Plan Development
Working with your staff we will develop a comprehensive risk management plan covering all aspects of your operation.
This will include an Emergency Plan, staff and/or volunteer training and hiring plans, basic field safety protocols,
all necessary forms (waiver/release, health form, incident report, etc), guidelines for periodic safety audits, and
more. This is the most comprehensive service we offer and it will guide your program in maintaining exemplary safety
standards. Having ASI on board to address risk management issues can free you and your staff to focus on other aspects
of your business or mission.
Ropes Course and Climbing Wall Services
ASI has designed climbing and ropes course structures worldwide. Our innovative Peak Ascent™ structures provide
an exciting new approach for this industry. ASI also developed a climbing wall accreditation process for the Climbing
Gym Association. We provide inspection and review services for ropes courses, climbing walls, and climbing gyms.
ASI also offers instruction in climbing wall and ropes course management.
Other Services
ASI staff has helped outdoor programs develop curriculums, business plans, and various safety related operating procedures.
We can help your organization prepare for American Mountain Guides Association or Association or Experiential Education
accreditation reviews. Contact us regarding any of these services or any services of interest to you that you do not see
listed here. Please also refer to the other areas of this site, including the training, risk management, and adventure
treks sections.
