The four-sided Peak Ascent™ structure has activities on each face. Key objectives are:

1. All activities require collaboration with one or more partners to complete.
2. Activities are innovative and have not been used on other similar events.
3. The level of physical challenge is modest so most people can complete the ascent.
4. There is a theme to the journey up the Peak Ascent tower based on a mountain ascent.

The first Peak Ascent™ tower in the world was commissioned by Outward Bound Singapore from ASI and construction completed in September 2001. These towers are now licensed for construction in other parts of the world.
