Motivational Talks
Everest Peace Climb
The Everest Peace Climb was the most successful expedition ever to visit the mountain. A record number of twenty climbers
from 3 countries reached the summit, climbing the North Ridge from Tibet. The climbers from America, China and the Soviet
Union demonstrated that through peaceful cooperation the highest goals on earth could be reached. The Everest peace Climb
also cleaned-up the mountain environment and produced a documentary film Three Flags over Everest, narrated by Robert Redford.
Ian Wade was the climbing leader for the Everest Peace Climb and has developed motivational slide presentations from this and his other mountaineering experiences.

presentation is illustrated with extracts from Ian's climbs of Half Dome in Yosemite, the Eiger in Switzerland and Mt. Everest.
